To kick off semester 2, we are featuring the work of Pedro Tello Bullon, a first year MArchD student in RLD
"A fictional space for the exhibition of "Anticucho", a dish made of meat and seasoned with Peruvian chilli, that dates back to the viceroyalty times, strongly influenced by African descendants. Nowadays is very related to the Lord of Miracles' Procession, which explains the shape of the space.
This year in RLD, after documenting and analysing an existing archive, we end up creating our own archive and designing a cabinet for its display. Peru has around 500 different traditional dishes, there are up to 2,500 soups and nearly 250 traditional desserts. Additionally, Peru has been chosen as the World’s Leading Culinary Destination for the last 8 consecutive years. I have selected some of these dishes as part of my collection."
