The dissection of Failure: Lucid Chart and Lucid Dreams

Last year I failed my Management Practice and Law submission, proudly, as often failure is a means to understand gaps within a system or approach.

My MPL proposal was highly speculative and quite frankly, looking back at it now, it felt like a Lucid Dream where I consciously made a decision to test and inevitably fail. At University we are clients hence it is the place to fail and try again. This Lucid Dream of mine became a reality and a pass thanks to one simple thing: an alternative method for communicating my idea and portraying it in a coherent manner and within a better time scale for processing the amount of information a Neurodiverse brain absorbs on a daily basis.

If you too are an introspective fellow with zero to imaginary patience for imperfect meaningless work then I suggest you indulge in intensive organisation and categorisation within the interface of Lucid Chart.

How?

Compulsively and obsessively, in a similar way to how cuticles need to be hydrated and disinfected on a daily basis because why on earth would you let things that look like and feel like hair appear close to your nails? I use a cuticle moisturiser and the Karma selection from Rituals for hand cream because metaphors and symbols help one give meaning to your daily tasks as much as they help you give meaning to your MPL submissions. Some consider Rituals to be a brand of '' too intense smell '' and hence inadequate for daily usage. I love Rituals because it has been the first brand and business with an ethos, set of values and message that matches my own - that of an absolute goddess that needs her Rituals.

" Founded in 2000, Rituals is the first brand in the world to combine Home & Body cosmetics. Inspired by natural ingredients and ancient Eastern beauty traditions Rituals aims to produce inspiring products for the care of your body and home. Rituals transforms everyday events into something extraordinary. At the brands core is the belief that happiness can be found in the smallest of things. This begins with feeling good about yourself and discovering how to savor the beautiful intensity of ordinary things. Just by taking the time to enjoy a warm bath, a cup of tea or a relaxing massage you can make any moment take on a special significance. It is our passion to transform your everyday routines into more meaningful rituals. Rituals is designed for discerning customers who have high standards when it comes to personal care. People that that not only care for others but the environment as well. Not surprisingly, these are the same standards we insist on for our products and services. Rituals is meant for everyone who wishes to enjoy the small pleasures of life."

With a message that puts the relationship between Body and Home at the core of its values who honestly cares about the smell being "too intense". Personally I find their Franchise approach to be the best in existence:

"Created in 2000, Rituals is a unique luxury lifestyle brand with a passion to transform your everyday routines into more meaningful experiences. The first stand-alone store was opened in 2000 and today Rituals operates more than 600 stores across 27 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America; with the aim to open 1,000 stores by 2020.The strategy of the company is to run and operate company-owned stores and therefore Rituals does not offer the Franchise system in new countries or any of the other countries where we currently have retail stores. We hope to have informed you sufficiently."

Good Product doesn't need publicity.

Another business that I absolutely adore is Swedish kikki-k. Great for Diaries, shopping lists and recipe organisers. I got my Planner 4 years ago and you can get it monogrammed in store in gold or silver leaf. Their mission statement:

"Something kikki.K in every stylish life...the world over”

Our vision truly encapsulates what we love to do and want to do, for life. We simply love creating and sharing beautiful things; things that are thoughtfully designed, functional, meaningful; things that draw on our Swedish heritage and love of learning and positive living; things that bring a genuine spark of joy to everyday life; things that inspire and empower people the world over to live their best life, every day."

Kiiki.K's most recent project approach surrounds the following question:

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU KNEW YOU COULDN'T FAIL?

The above examples embody what one needs in order to achieve a successful project for Management Practice and Law.

Assume you can't fail because you honestly can't.
